Description

This is the second use of my modified italic. The painting in of the letters uses white and pale blue rather in the manner of signwriter s shadows , so that the colour balance shifts as the work is viewed from different angles.

The words are a line from Wind, Waves and Sails by M. la Rue, published in poems by Children 1950-1961 edited by Michael Baldwin, published by Routledge & Kegan Paul in 1962. I have been unable to trace the poet and would be grateful of any information about her or him.
