Monogrammed letter carving on assembled driftwood fragments with acrylic paint.
Apart from carving and painting, the pieces of wood are exactly as found on Criccieth beach. The words are Old English (Anglo-Saxon) and are poetic metaphors or kennings, which all mean the sea .
Translation: Seal s track, Play of salt waves, Fishes bath.
