Through the Trees on the Waters Edge Supply

Description
Hambleton Wood, Hambleton Peninsular, Rutland, grey day in winter.
This was another version of the view to the far shore, but the angle was different, so emphasising the ground and the density of the tree trunks. The water’s edge in Hambleton Wood varied considerably, especially in winter. Even though the trees were leafless, they could still form a barrier. The range of colours on the trunks from light to very dark, almost black, showed the winter sunlight penetrating the woodland.
