View to the Far Shore at the Waters Edge Sale

Description
Hambleton Wood, Hambleton Peninsular, Rutland, grey day in winter.
The leafless trees of Hambleton Wood in winter allowed us to peer through to the water’s edge and the far shore. This view was completely different in the summer months when we had to climb through the undergrowth to catch a glimpse of Brown’s Island and the other side of Rutland Water. The shape of the landscape may be more of the essence of the view, rather than the actual view as it needs to work formally with the shape of the trees.
